Lisa Grossman

Oregon's original number one girl, Lisa Grossman remains one of the winningest racers in Oregon BMX history. While on the JMC factory Team, she was nearly unbeatable on the national level and regularly raced, and beat,  the local boys when she didn't have a class. Along with Washington's Bart McDaniel and Michael Thomas, and Oregon's Darrell Young, Lisa helped JMC take team wins at countless nationals and championships. After JMC, Lisa was part of the
invincible Factory Uni team that was managed by her father, Noel.   Lisa rarely attended a national event that she didn't win or place in the top three.

Her home tracks were Alpenrose outdoor and McKay Creek indoor. In 1986, after winning everything there was to win, Lisa retired from BMX racing.

She made a comeback in 2000 racing the ABA Cruiser class and before long was winning nationals and grabbing podium positions all around the country.  By 2003 she hung up the bike and headed back into retirement.

These days Lisa works in the medical industry and lives in the Portland area  with her son.
